Monthly Math Contest

Participate in our monthly math contest. Applications are available in the lobby of bldg 69. Prizes are funded with a grant from the Broward Community College Foundation.

Graphing Calculator Courses

Jodie Fry and Joe Castillo offer courses utilizing the TI Graphing Calculator. Both instructors lend calculators to students at no charge.

Academic Systems

Joyce Nemeth and Abraham Biggs facilitate algebra courses for the independent learner utilizing the latest  multimedia technology.

Open and Online College Courses

Joyce Nemeth, and Abraham Biggs offer the independent learner an opportunity to complete College Algebra,
Statistics, and Liberal Arts  mathematics with minimal class meetings.

Honors Statistics

Students in the Honors Program at BCC can enroll in Joe Castillo's course and receive honors credit.

CD Based Algebra

Jodie Fry offers Elementary, Intermediate, and  College Algebra utilizing Math Pro, a complete textbook on cd rom with videos, tutorials, and step by step assistance. Students are required to have internet access and a computer, both of which are available in our learning lab.

TA Classes

Joe Castillo offers algebra courses with extra time so that students can meet with a student teacher assistant.
