Grading Policy
At the end of each semester, there are always students borderline with their grades. Remember the number of drop grades already assigned to you. If you are borderline between one grade and another, please do not ask to be elevated to the next highest grade.
Also remember professors may make mistakes. If you receive your final grade in the course and feel it is in error, please contact me as soon as possible and let me check the grade.
I do not give grades out over the phone or the internet. Neither will I give your grade to another student. If you wish to know your grade, come by my office. If you plan to be out of town when grades are sent out by the college, give me a self-addressed, stamped envelope and I will send them to you.
On occasions I will post grades outside my office door. If this is done, grades will be posted by the last four digits of your social security number. Additionally, to keep anyone but you from determining your grade, I will scramble the roll before posting the social security numbers.
